So my dad has been writing a bunch of music lately and as we were pre celebrating fathers day tonight I was listening to his new tracks (some obviously intended for female vocalists). As we were brainstorming for the right type of voice I had a flashback to when I lived in L.A. for a hot minute. When I was living up there with Alexander and Nick Grosvenor we used to have a psuedo recording studio in the place and people would come by and record jams with Nick. One day one of Nick’s acting class cohorts came over(Kate Micucci) and I was blown away by her talent on the piano and 40’s style vocals that she laid down. So of course I had to look her up so that my dad could hear her voice. Long story short, I couldn’t find anything with her singing solo that really showcased her talent(not that this doesn’t….but much differently) but boy oh boy do I love what I found. This song is amazing and I’m very happy to be able to share it with you! Good work ladies! Check out their other jams too as many are super funny and well written.
