I couldn’t help but think of what my dad always says to me during my explorations today. He simply says “I like hanging out with you because you’re the luckiest guy I know”.

Oakley Surf Shop Challenge

Rusty Boardhouse had a pretty awesome team assembled for the Oakley Shop Challenge this year. It consisted of Jake Halstead, Hunter Lysaught, Jacob Szekely and myself. Halstead was our “whammy” surfer and did a great job navagating the chop, disbursing water and doubling a very good score of a 7.8. Unfortunately though, Surfride posted some pretty big scores all around and as they say….second place IS the first loser and we will not be going to Bali.
