Well like Ryan McGill of Summer Sessions said…the stickers were “in the mail”!! I slapped them on the new board along with putting the black lines on my fin boxes and here’s what it looks like now.

The institute was fun again. I also got to shred with mr. Derek Dunfee again. He wasted no time sticking some airs for all the guys watching. If you guys have the new Transworld video see if you can spot his wipeout that they included in the video.
I crushed my dozer again trying some shuv-its. I’m already beating that poor thing pretty bad. Two trips to repair in a week, yikes.
I also got the new Summer Sessions stickers in the mail today and I’m not gonna lie they’re HOT!!

I got the copy of my 5’6″ Hustler today. It looks great!! I hope it’s as shreddy as the other one! I’m thinking I may put black stripes on the yellow future boxes so that it looks like killer bees down there. I slapped on a cool
X-Trak pad but note the lack of a Summer Sessions sticker on there!! “they’re in the mail” says Ryan McGill…

The last couple days have been super fun. Ramps everywhere. I got to shred with Bryan Guter and Derek Dunfee today. Guter was shredding and Derek had some nice punts! Yesterday I met a couple kids from NH that are out here for school. Crazy how small of a world it is. Here’s some pics from the last couple days. Enjoy!

As I’m sure most of you know the BIG SHOW was just in town. They always forget to mention one of the main reasons why  lowers is always crowded. It’s because everywhere else was poop and look how fun and shreddy lowers was. Check out these pics by Garret Scurr from the contest and lounge area of the event. Another day of doo doo!

Well as you’ve noticed I haven’t posted anything in a few days. The waves have pretty much been poop and there has been no sun for four days, so not much to take pictures of.
So today I figured I’d showcase the fins I’ve been riding while it’s been small.
Mr. Phil “boo” Stubbs dialed me in with the new Rob Machado Future Fins. They are super springy and jet you around in gutless waves and the back fin is a bit smaller than the sides so you get great release. They also look really cool with the carbon fiber wrapped bamboo. Check em out!

The title is in German so figure it out if you want. I got my shred on at the above mentioned beach this morning with Guter and MC. Some fun waves with a bit of backwash. Worst part is I owe Guter 5 bucks because he completed a better air than me before I had to get out and head to Rusty. Maybe he’ll let me go double or nothing on pool….

Here are some pictures I’ve taken in the last week. Notice in the first sunset pictures that I took during the power outage that the only lights are from all the cars stuck in traffic on Torrey Pines Rd. Nuts!
