Sorry

My apologies for not having posted anything in three days. Some things in the personal life have been going on and I haven’t felt quite up to the postings. The good news is that I’ve taken some incredible sunset pictures the this week AND I’ll be giving away some stuff in the next few days to make up for my lack of entertainment.
On another note, congrats to Jordy Smith for winning his second consecutive J-bay event. You made my buddy Richie proud!

I got up über early and got my shred on before work. There were some fun waves. Knee to chest high and only two other people out. Not sure if everybody is still up tight about the shark but I enjoyed the lack of people. Here’s some pics.

Shark!!

So I surfed before and after work today. Waves were small but kind of fun. Knee to chest high etc. When I paddled out this evening there was a real lack of people, especially for a Saturday. As I paddled out I saw a lifeguard boat cruising up and down the beach. My amigo Stephen then informed me there was a shark sighting. Soon after they announced it on the P.A. from the lifeguard tower.
So what was the call? To surf with Stephen and the other few people and watch the amazing sunset of course! I figured it was like seeing a thunderstorm 2 miles away and having somebody telling you that you could get struck by lightning. Good news….I lived to tell the story lol.
