I went on a great hike today. Every year for my moms birthday and mothers day we take off and find a hike around the mountains of San Diego. This year we went to “three sisters falls”. Here’s the pictures I took along the way.

Sorry everybody…since I’ve been home I’ve been getting everything settled at the place I’m staying. I haven’t had Internet and hence haven’t posted anything. So here’s a rundown on what I’ve been up to.
I finally got back in the water after the long road trip and it felt so good. Putting on a 3/2 with no booties, gloves or hood was amazing. It felt like I was putting on a thin Lycra suit. The water was fine and the waves have been fun. I have a few pictures from the last few days that I will upload later this evening.
I also got a bike from craigslist yesterday so that cruising around La Jolla will be a bit easier and faster. I’ll of course be mounting it with a surfboard rack for easy transportation of the blades.
I will also be doing an X-trak giveaway in the next week to make up for my lack of posts. Stay tuned as I will announce what day and time I will post the question for the giveaway so that everybody who wants will have a fair chance at winning.
Finally made it to San Diego! I was so excited that once I got to Alpine I forgot to keep taking pictures. It feels great to be done with the drive even though it was super fun and we got to see great scenery and hang out with lots of cool people. Here are the last few pictures that I took.

I didn’t take the last three pictures on this drive but I figured I’d post them for everyone who hasn’t been lucky enough to visit here before.
Today was all about hanging out in the desert with my dad. We didn’t make any ground towards San Diego and are staying in Yuma again tonight. It was a great day. Perfectly sunny, about 100*F and we had an epic watering hole all to ourselves. Here’s some pics from the day.

Check out Joel Feid, Myself, Mike Stanek and Natty Graham in Ryan’s latest edit. If you haven’t checked out his prior work do it. Spring Verses 9 is currently a feature on ESM magazines website. You can check them all out on his website as well:
So I would say that besides the lightning pictures that I got in Boulder that day 6 was the best day for pictures. I stopped at the meteor crater in northern AZ as well as Montezuma’s castle. We also drove across the continental divide and through Sedona, AZ which are both amazing. Here’s the pics. Enjoy.

I had a super big day today. Drove all the way from Santa Fe, NM to Yuma, AZ. When I was heading out to New Hampshire it was dark when I passed Montezumas castle and the meteor crater in AZ. So I made it a point to stop at both places today. They were both super cool and I took some good pics that I will upload later. Here was the ground we covered.
