I had a super big day today. Drove all the way from Santa Fe, NM to Yuma, AZ. When I was heading out to New Hampshire it was dark when I passed Montezumas castle and the meteor crater in AZ. So I made it a point to stop at both places today. They were both super cool and I took some good pics that I will upload later. Here was the ground we covered.

Day 5
So we got back in the burban today and put Boulder, CO to the rearview mirror. It was super smooth sailing until we got to the New Mexico border, when the wind starting absolutely howling. I’ve driven in super windy conditions before but this was definitely the worst. So I wrestled the burban to Santa Fe, NM and this is the end of the line for the day.

Day 3 and 4 pics
So there was NO DRIVING going on today. Laura and I made an executive decision that Boulder was cool enough to just hang out for another day. We had a great day hanging with her friends that are now residing here in Boulder. I was even lucky enough to get a great lightning show this afternoon/evening. Here are pics of the last two days which include the drive from Des Moines to Boulder and pics from around Boulder. We’ll be hitting the road again tomorrow.

Day 2….done
Day 1 in the books
So we covered about 550 miles today. Massachusettes…check, New York…check. I missed the last day of the Brazil CT event but it’s going to probably be my lowest score on Fantasy Surfer ever so I wasn’t too bummed. Congrats Adriano. We did stop in Buffalo to visit my gramps and friends though. It was a long day, so after some sunset pics at lake erie(which was flat as a lake……) co-pilot LGabz and I called it a day. Of course I forgot the camera in the car so I’ll post the pics tomorrow.
The journey begins
