My GPS wound up broken and would only offer me “recalculating” as the name of where I was. Lots of surfers enjoying the breakers though!
I have had this project on the shelf for a while but was recently motivated to finish it up. When I moved to New Hampshire I filmed my drive across country since I figured not as many people have driven as have flown. And for those of you who have never had the opportunity…here it is sped up to just 3 little minutes. I made the drive solo in 5 days time and had the best winter of my life upon arrival. Freezing water, fickle waves and awesome friends. Enjoy!
I came across these photos of a board that had my favorite artwork I’ve put on a board to date. It figures since the board weighed only three pounds, eight ounces that it buckled in three different places on its maiden voyage. Also, a funny side note for the hispanohablantes: You may notice the phrase “vales verga” along the rail there…a bit of irony? The guys at rusty did some R&D afterwards and well, results were inconclusive haha.
I was lucky enough to be able and join three of my good friends for some camping at a very remote region on this planet. The real task didn’t start until hours into the journey. A fully loaded hike to a remote beach. We had to pack any water/food/shelter/shred gear we wanted. As you can imagine the most fun way to pass time was pointing out obvious flaws in other guys equipment packing. The good news is that we made it back alive and got some fun waves in the middle of it all. Dan, Nick, Al(ex(ander))…epic trip boys!
Just in case you haven’t already seen these, it is an awesome twist on the friendship bracelet. I’m always telling their story at the shop so I figure I’d just post a link so that you can check them out for yourself.
