Fantasy SHREDDING!

I hang with the ELITE when it comes to surfing…..fantasy surfing that is. My friend Ned got the highest score of event one in all of fantasy surfing last year, and this year….my other friend Garrett has accomplished the same amazing feat! I came in right on his heels in 10,somethingish place lol. He was super pumped and I wanted to brag a little bit for him since it’s only once in a while that you fantasy surf with perfection like that! Good work amigo!

#Nemo

I skipped out of town a couple days before nemo arrived and I’m glad I did. Air travel was a nightmare. Here are some photos I enjoyed from my friends on Instagram during the storm. Sorry I didn’t put them up sooner but I’ve had a really bad fever.

And then…

Things went back to normal in the NorthEast!
This is the other thing a 60MPH offshore wind can do besides blow over a telephone poll. It can turn overhead waves into knee slappers in hours. It’s a constant struggle between size and conditions up here. Hope you got some yesterday! Or at least some little slappers today.

Gadzookes!!

Holy JACKPOT!!!! Look at what I just read!!! This is the best news I’ve heard in a while!!! Now if I can only stay alive until 2015 haha. As some of you may know(or tragically lived through yourself), when I was about 8 years old the last Dunkin Donuts anywhere near me in San Diego closed their doors. It wasn’t until 21 years later that I would be re familiarized with the brand on a trip to New England.
On that trip I had originally purchased a one way ticket and wound up staying for six weeks before deciding to move to New Hampshire for a Winter season. Upon moving here I realized that it was hard to go more than a city block without seeing one(pretty much exactly like the Starbucks brand in the rest of the country). And boy do the New Englanders love their DD! So much so that they even sponsor the local NFL team(New England Patriots)! Upon moving back to CA I realized how much I had been re trained to love DD. AND NOW…I am the guy running down the jetway at Boston Logan to get in line!
Anyways….like always…just wanted to share the stoke, and maybe inform some CA residents of good news haha.

Look at this map of Dunkin Donuts locations. I actually posted this same map a long time ago just because it makes me laugh every time I look at how thick and dense the cluster of boxes around New England is.

Well…

What was your surf like today? I’m gonna guess not many of you can say that you often deal with gusts of 60mph offshore winds along with the windchill it brings AND 37 degree water. And if you ARE one of the few that can, right on! Besides my ears closing up way faster than the normal human, I love the cold!

This is what 60mph offshore can do!
