There were still plenty of waves today. I rode my 5’9″ Misfit and tried some new Chilli Future fins. They worked really, really good.

It’s nice to come back to some wave as well. Here’s a quick pic from this morning.
Last morning
I just landed in DC and the trip has been amazing. The weather was perfect and I even got to surf my favorite spot this morning. Mr. Sander was on the beach getting all the action and Natty also made his way down from Maine to come surf as well. I’ll post the pics I’ve taken on the trip later but here is a quick one I took with my phone before heading out.

The waves were super fun today. I surfed three times. I’m totally spent and need to sleep but I wanted to post this first. Here’s some pics I took.

Well I wasn’t able to sleep at all on the venture here but I knew I was surely in Boston when within one mile I saw a vin’s auto, rizzo 4 mayor and two dunkin donuts in the same parking lot haha. The waves were fun early. Head high to a couple feet overhead. In the afternoon the wind came up an everywhere was bad. There was a cool sunset though and I also played indoor soccer with the Summer Sessions team. It was a great battle but we lost by one goal. Time to try and sleep. I hope the waves are as good as predicted tomorrow!

Well I’m about to board a plane to Boston because the forecast looks good and my 5/4′ wetsuits were getting no love in SD. I hope it all comes together. Stay tuned for pics.
Happy Halloween
Well the scariest thing I’ve seen so far today were the waves. It’s super small again here in the Jolla. The weather has been so amazing and looks like we should get some waves come Wednesday. Enjoy the night everyone.
Stunt of the Month
Well as I said a few posts ago the waves have been super small. However, what I didn’t realize was how much opportunity there was to try new, unique and by all means “mind blowing” tricks. So in tribute to R.usty’s Punt of the Month feature on Surfline, this is my “Stunt of the Month”. Here is a clip that Rick Takahashi got of me on Sunday morning. Now this is the first time I have ever pulled a DOUBLE SLOB grab……and by double I mean two on this one wave. Stay tuned for more clips from sunday morning. Now sit back and enjoy the SHOW!!!

It’s now almost too late for me to get sunset pics after work. I hustled up the hill tonight and this is what I got.
Friday wedding
Well I thought the waves were going to be a lot better this week. Unfortunately that wasn’t the case. The highlight of my weekend was finally getting to attend a wedding at scripps. My friends Kristen and Alex somehow were able to lock down the venue.
Before the ceremony started I got to watch Mr. Michael Gumina and Remy Juboori take apart some waist high slop which added to the coolness factor for myself. Miraculously the sun also came out for the first time in about five days for the end of the ceremony and sunset. It was an all around amazing night in which lots of people had fun and Kristens mom Rosanne even thanked me in her speech which was so nice.
