Here are some pics that my amigo Jackson Dougherty snapped in La Jolla the other day. I was riding my new 5’6” Dozer and it was working great. Check out the rest of his pics at: www.fishnchipsphoto.com

Check out this super cool photo my buddy Garret took. It’s a multi-layered shot which gives the cool look and ghostly images paddling out. Check out his website at: http://www.scurrphotos.com
I almost pulled the trigger and flew out for this storm but I didn’t…..and I’m kind of glad. There were of course some fun waves but with the storm track I think the travel hassle would have far outweighed the wave rewards. So for those of you that were there or just want to see what was going on this is a video that my amigo Ryan Denning put together from the storm. Enjoy and remember to check out his website www.alpine-live.com!
My buddy Kalle is in town from Finland at the moment and we got to surf together yesterday morning. He has been a big influence in my life. He has introduced me to lots of great people and helped tons with my Spanish and other languages. He has been on the covers of Surfer Magazine and Surfers Journal and now shreds Finland when possible. Check out his blog “A Surf Mind”! Here is a picture of Kalle from Tahiti and a picture of me from our surf yesterday morning.
So I cruised up to lower trestles last week and it was nuts. The waves were super fun however it was crowded and there were about 5 guys out that were very timid and not very talented on their boards which kind of choked the line up. All I could think of when I came in was how I felt like I had just been surfing in the movie “Point Break”. So….I’ve edited the footage that Mr. Jackson Dougherty took and placed it to audio from the movie point break. I hope you enjoy.
There was a delivery today! It weighed 4lbs 3ozs. A brand new 5’6″ dozer. It is 18.75″x2.38″. This is my third version of the dozer and this one looks sooooo good!! I’m surely gonna have to wake up early and take it for a spin. Check how epic the X-Trak tail pad is. Not only do they look cool: they have an amazing adhesion system which keeps them stuck tight to your board and super tacky traction so that there is no slipping going on while you’re shredding!! Ask for them at the shop nearest you.
So I’m pretty sure most of you would consider my burban a boat. Soooo, technically I went on a “boat trip to windonesia” today. I got to see a lot of amigos that shred real hard. Johnny Maher, Jake Halstead, Johnny Noris, Rodger Eales, Lucas Dirkse, Stefano Rakagilia and Michael Gumina. There was even a token Peter King sighting. We met up with Jackson Dougherty. Here is a shot he got of me on the inside bowl. Check out his other photos at fish ‘n chips photo
