My apologies for not having posted anything in three days. Some things in the personal life have been going on and I haven’t felt quite up to the postings. The good news is that I’ve taken some incredible sunset pictures the this week AND I’ll be giving away some stuff in the next few days to make up for my lack of entertainment.
On another note, congrats to Jordy Smith for winning his second consecutive J-bay event. You made my buddy Richie proud!
Here are a couple pics of me that were on the internet from 6/17/11.

So I surfed before and after work today. Waves were small but kind of fun. Knee to chest high etc. When I paddled out this evening there was a real lack of people, especially for a Saturday. As I paddled out I saw a lifeguard boat cruising up and down the beach. My amigo Stephen then informed me there was a shark sighting. Soon after they announced it on the P.A. from the lifeguard tower.
So what was the call? To surf with Stephen and the other few people and watch the amazing sunset of course! I figured it was like seeing a thunderstorm 2 miles away and having somebody telling you that you could get struck by lightning. Good news….I lived to tell the story lol.
This is a video that Ryan Denning is working on. I have some clips in the beginning from the epic winter I spent in New Hampshire. It’s crazy how much I actually can’t wait to go back to the icy waters. I may have to do a tactical strike during hurricane season while the water is still not too bad…..
Alright everybody. I have a one-year paid subscription to transworld surf magazine to giveaway. What I don’t have is a good idea for how to give it away. Leave a comment with your best idea for a contest to win this thing. Your comment won’t appear right away as I have to approve them but I will see them all. Put on your thinking caps and let’s have fun with this.
